I absolutely love and bought it yesterday, but these ~400KB/s download speeds are killing me. I will never be able to download whole thing, maybe my grandchildren's will enjoy it at full grace.
The new ones all sound amazing, and there are some interesting instruments represented, but asking $200-300 to upgrade from VV3 is kind of unreasonable in my opinion, at least without more additions and/or functionality.
Hesitating on buying this. I like sound of Super 7 and Program 24 but looks like you can only drag drum patterns not arps into DAW to tweak and build song like Emulation II+ allows you to, unless they all share same arp patterns across these instruments, or features added in a later update.

I’ve avoided this company’s output since getting Digital Synsations, as I own a D50, an SY99, the M1 plugin and at the time I had an Ensoniq SD1, and the software sounds absolutely nothing like any of them. Really disappointing. It sounded like a really low quality sample based plugin of very limited use. From what I’ve heard of the rest of the collection there may be some much better instruments In there. I just don’t think I want to risk that much cash for something that may end up being very disappointing.

The only niche you missed was the boutique garage industry tube synths like Knifonium. Otherwise, good coverage of everything.

How is this on CPU?
Pretty easy in my experience. I could use VV3 pretty easily on my mid-2012 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM. On my mid-2021 MacBook I can do even more.
